The Ophthalmology Department was established in the year 1987 the era in which Eye and ENT was a combined subject. Today the Department is equipped with latest machines for cataract surgery (Phacoemulsification), Fundus camera, OCT machine, Argon Laser, A-Scan, B-Scan, IOL master, Fundus fluorescent angiography and other modern diagnostic and surgical instruments. It has a well established optical section for fitting and dispensing all kinds of spectacles and a contact lens clinic as well.
