The School of Nursing was Established in the year 1950 with the Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with the intake of 35 students. Our School of Nursing is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and The Karnataka State Nurses and Midwives Council, Bangalore and approved by Christian Medical Association of India Board of Nursing Education [CMAI BNE] Our vision and mission is to prepare competent, dedicated and skilled nurses for the society and the nation.
OBJECTIVES OF OUR COURSES

Our courses aim to care for the sick, irrespective of status and without discrimination as to caste, creed and colour.

The student develops knowledge of the factors governing health with a view of prevention of diseases.

The student learns to assess and prioritize the health needs of individuals, families and community.

The student develops skill in human relationship and communication skills to apply in her daily work.

The student learns to cooperate with the other members of the health team in the community in promotion of health, prevention of illness, restoration of health and rehabilitation.
